Rev. A.W. MacLauchlan is married to Grace. They have three children, Stephanie, Stephen, and Stacey. Bro. MacLauchlan has served as Pastor in multiple cities, most recently a thriving church in the city of Belleville. Rev. MacLauchlan has been very active in District work, serving in variety of capacities including serving on the District Board and as the District Secretary for many years until becoming District Superintendent in 2013.

Ontario District Secretary
Dwayne McCarty graduated from Northeast Christian College in Fredericton, NB (formerly UPBI) in 1986 and became a licensed minister with the UPCI that same year. Other than 10 months of ministry in Pakistan in 1986/87, he has spent his entire ministry with the UPCI Ontario District in Ottawa, Barrie, Toronto and now Stittsville. Section 1 Presbyter
Dustin Abbott has been married to Lana since 1997 and is the father of Samuel, Jazzlyn, and Ryan. He attended Christian Life College in Stockton, California. He has been the pastor of Emmanuel Lighthouse UPC in Pembroke, Ontario since 2002. He has served in Ontario District in various capacities, including as Section 1 Presbyter, Media Missions Director, and the Leadership Training Centre Administrative Dean. He is a published author as well as a professional photographer whose work has appeared in multiple publications. He considers it an honor to serve in the Lord’s work.
Section 2 Presbyter
Rev. Garland Hanscom was saved at the age of 18. He met his wife, Glenda, at Apostolic Missionary Institute and married her after graduation. They have one son, Jeremy, who is the current pastor of Calvary Church in Ottawa. He pastored in St. Catharines, ON, before moving to Ottawa to become the pastor of Calvary Church, where he has served for many years, presently as Bishop. He has served the Ontario District in a variety of ways, including the Youth Department, Home Missions Director, and on the Ontario District Board. He has also served the UPCI in positions such as Canadian Executive Presbyter, Global Vision Council, Point of Refuge Councillor, and on the college board of NCC. Under his leadership Calvary Church started many daughter works, and Rev. Hanscom now pastors one of these extension works.
Section 3 Presbyter
Rev. Thomas Breeden received his Bachelor of Theology in Apostolic Studies from Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota. As an Ordained Minister of the United Pentecostal Church International, he has served in many capacities in the Ontario District for the past twenty-two years. Thomas is also Lead Pastor of Calvary Church in Napanee, Ontario. He is married to his beautiful wife Tamara and has two children Marissa and Benjamin.
Section 4 Presbyter
Rev. James Church is married to Starla and they have four daughters, Brianna, Janelle, Macy, and Savannah. He is the lead pastor of Crosspoint UPC in Oshawa. He also serves as the District Apostolic Man Director.
Section 5 Presbyter
Rev. Granville McKenzie was ordained in April 2001 and subsequently elected as Senior Pastor of Faith Sanctuary in June 2003, after the passing of his father and mentor, Rev. F. Wesley McKenzie. He holds a Master of Theology degree from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto. With over 20 years of business experience in sales and accounting, he has served the UPCI as Executive Presbyter for Canada, Pastoral Advisor to the Sunday School Division and currently as a member of the Global Missions Board. He serves as the Presbyter of Section 5 in the Ontario District UPC. He and his darling wife Verona have been blessed with a son, Jonathan and a daughter, Asher.
Section 6 Presbyter
Rev. Michael Shaw pastors Lifepoint UPC in Hamilton, Ontario, and serves as the Presbyter for Section 6. He is married to Judy and they have two children, Adam and Ashley.
Section 7 Presbyter
Rev. Phil Phillips has been a minister with the United Pentecostal church since 1975, serving as a pastor, evangelist, and the Vice President of Apostolic Missionary Institute. He has been married to his beautiful wife Sherry since 1983, and they have two lovely daughters, Danielle and Kara. He attended UPBI (NCC) in New Brunswick. He currently serves as the pioneer pastor of the Pentecostals of Chatham. He enjoys being with his family, reading, and teaching Home Bible Studies.
Rev. Alonzo Dummitt married his beautiful wife Beverly 1962. Their son, Jason, is married to Cindy and they two wonderful grandsons, Ethan and Evan. Rev. Dummitt attended Apostolic Bible Institute, St Paul, Minn., graduated with honours Franklin University Columbus, Ohio, and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration graduating Summa Cum Laud. He served in United States Army, receiving the Army Accommodation Medal for establishing a signal site in a hostile area. He served as pastor of Stittsville UPC for thirty years before retiring in 2011. He has served the Ontario District in many capacities over 32 years, most recently as District Superintendent. He now serves as an honorary District Board member and as a servant of Jesus Christ.
Rev. Victor Leavitt serves as an Honorary Presbyter with the UPC Ontario District
Rev. Ross Kingsley graduated from UPBI (NCC) in 1962. He has three daughters, Loy, Lyndal, and Lana. He has been a licensed minister with the UPCI since 1961, and has served as pastor in Charleville, Mississauga, and Pembroke. He has served the Ontario District in the Youth Department, as Home Missions Director, Sectional Presbyter, and on various boards and committees. He and his wife, Sheila, continue to be active participants in both Emmanuel Lighthouse UPC in Pembroke and the Ontario District.
Rev. Gordon Kierstead has been a licensed member of the Ontario District since 1962. He was married in 1965 to his wife, Joan, who went on to her reward in 2013. They have one daughter, Deborah. He served in various pastoral capacities in Memphis, TN, Belleville, and Oshawa before becoming the pastor of London Gospel Lighthouse in 1975, where he served for nearly forty years as pastor. He has served in various capacities in the Ontario District, including the Youth Department, Sunday School Director, Home Missions secretary, Vice President of AMI, and on the Ontario District Board. He has chaired and worked on a great variety of committees and continues to be active in many areas of District work.
NAM Director (Home Missions)
Rev. Shawn Stickler is the lead pastor of the Pentecostals of Quinte. He graduated from the University of Delaware where majored in Business Administration and minored in Religious Studies. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1998. He has been a licensed minister with the UPCI since January 2000. He has served in various capacities in the Ontario District and nationally including LTC, Northeast Christian College Board of Directors, Canadian director for the UPCI Hyphen ministry, and Ontario Youth President. He is the husband of Stephanie, and they have four children: Makayla, Brooklyn, Abigail, and Luke.
NAM Secretary (Home Missions)
Kevin Kelsey has been married to Shawn since 1984 and they have two children, Amber and Caleb. Rev. Kelsey current serves as Lead Pastor in London, Ontario. He has served in a variety of district capacities, including: Youth Corp Director, on the Camp, Home Missions, and Multicultural Ministries committees, and on the District Board of Ontario. He currently serves as the North American Missions secretary of Ontario.
Sunday School Director
Kevin Shaw has been married to Rita for 23 years and they have two children, Ben and Jocelyn. He completed his studies at Apostolic Missionary Institute in Oshawa and later assumed the pastorate at Gateway United Pentecostal Church in 2001. Kevin is a second generation Pentecostal who has always enjoyed his involvement in the Ontario District. As a new convert he became involved in the District and has served in various departments as opportunities have presented themselves. He maintains that it is more important to get involved then to wait to be chosen. The biblical principle he tries to live by is Eccl 9:10; “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might”.

Rev. Jason Roach is the Pastor of New Hope Brockville Tabernacle. He is married to Dana and they have three daughters, Emily, Amelia, and Gabrielle. Rev. Roach serves as the Ontario District Sunday School Secretary
Ontario Youth President
Adam Shaw serves as Assistant Pastor and Youth Pastor of Lifepoint Church in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, as well as the Youth President for the Ontario District and Regional Director for Canada for Hyphen. He is a speaker at student and young adult events across North America. Adam is the co-author of You(th) Ministry: 29 Challenges to Cultivate Health and Lead Well and The Gospel, a Bible Study for youth published digitally on the GYD app and in print by the PPH. An avid reader, Adam enjoys studying culture and philosophy and then contrasting those ideas with Scripture, figuring out how to help young people think and live more like Christ. Adam is married to the love of his life and his best friend Stephanie. They are the proud parents of the cutest little boy on the planet, Judah Harrison. Together they’re leading students to Christ
Ontario Youth Secretary
Rev. Kelvin Shaw has been a licensed minister with the UPCI since 2010 and has served in Stittsville UPC in many outreach and youth driven ministries. He currently serves as the Director of Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Dwayne McCarty. In the Ontario District Kelvin has served as Sectional Youth Rep, Hyphen Director and LTC Ottawa Instructor. He currently serves as Ontario District Youth Secretary. Kelvin is married to his beautiful wife and best friend Symone and they are proud parents of Micah and Kaleb. He holds a BA in Political Science from Carleton University. Kelvin is passionate about preaching and teaching the Word of God while leading youth & young adults to reach their full potential in Christ.
Ladies Ministry President
Shawn Kelsey married Kevin in 1984, and they have treasures from God in Amber and Caleb. Originally from Kentucky, she graduated from ABI before moving to Ontario in 1981 to teach at Apostolic Missionary Institute. She served in various capacities at AMI for 9 years. She has worked the last 25 years in the Social Services field as a an Adolescent Family Counsel, Crisis Counselor , and Community Development Manager. She was worked to develop and direct the Life in Focus Program in Burlington, forging many relationships in the process, and was awarded the distinguished Paul Harris Fellowship Award by the Burlington Rotary for her commitment to the community. She currently serves the Ladies of the Ontario District as President.
Ladies Ministry Secretary
Rhonda was raised in Northern New Brunswick of Catholic French descent. She had a miraculous conversion at the age of 16 at Pea Cove Camp in Maine. She graduated from Northeast Christian College (then UPBI) in 1986. During Bible College she had the privilege to help for one summer in West Island Montreal with Bro. Cole Price and then 2 summers in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia helping Sis. Neilah Mean. She then worked there for a year before returning to Bathurst where she met and married Brent. They continued to labour in the Bathurst church for 25 years in numerous capacities, including as Bible Quiz coaches, Youth Leaders, and Sunday School Teachers until the Lord called them to pastor the church in Barrie, ON in 2012. Rhonda and Brent have a son, Trevor, along with a daughter, Theresa, who is married to Kyle. Rhonda currently serves as the Ladies’ Ministry Secretary of Ontario.

Media Missions Director
Dustin Abbott has served as the District Media Missions director since 2009. The Media Missions department is responsible for this website and other forms of communication. The goal of Media Missions is connect the constituency of the province of Ontario (and by extension, the world) with the great things that God is doing in the Ontario District. Rev. Abbott is a professional photographer who uses that gift as a means of communication and highlighting the vibrant nature of the events that take place in our District.
Bible Quizzing Coordinator
Sis. Beth Church is the coordinator for Bible Quizzing in Ontario. She is passionate about children and seeing them reach their potential in the Lord.
Singles Adult Ministry
Rev. Tracey Hamilton has been a licensed minister with the UPCI since 2007. She attend Grace Apostolic in Scarborough, pastored by Rev. Andrew Eastman. She is involved in everything from teaching Sunday School and playing music to preaching both in her own church and at youth conventions, women’s conventions, and singles’ conferences. In addition to this tremendous work-load she is also bi-vocational. She is a lawyer with a thriving law practice as a partner in a Toronto firm. “My hope is that my lifestyle and who I am speaks volumes to people that you can be professional, you can be successful and you can make a difference in the kingdom of God,”
LTC Administrative Dean
Rev. Peter Pryce is a licensed minister with the UPCI Ontario District since 2013 and is the Assistant Pastor at City of Refuge Apostolic Church in Ottawa, Ontario. Rev. Pryce was appointed to the position of Ontario District Leadership Training Centre (LTC) Administrative Dean in 2016. Prior to his appointment he was and still remains the LTC Ottawa Campus Dean since 2014. He graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Honour Baccalaureate in Social Science with Specialization in Public Administration and a minor in Business Administration. He also graduated from Saint Paul’s University with a Bachelor of Theology, and a Master of Arts in Public Ethics. Rev. Pryce is married to his beautiful wife Nashola and have a handsome son named Malachi.
Errol began serving the Lord in 1983 and attended Bible School at Caribbean Bible Institute (UPC) in Kingston, Jamaica. He completed a Master of Education degree in School Psychology at the University of British Columbia and also has a Master of Arts degree from Urshan Graduate School. Currently, he is employed as a psycho-educational consultant with a School Board in the GTA. Errol has a passion for soul-winning and is particularly interested in reaching souls on the university and college campuses. He is friendly, kindhearted, jovial, and always has an encouraging word to share with others. The love of his life is Maxine and together they have two children, Amanda and Samuel.
