Ontario District Monthly Praise Report — September 2026

Praise the Lord, Ontario District Ministers!

Greetings in the wonderful and matchless name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ!

We’re grateful to share September’s praise report, highlighting the good things God is doing across the Ontario District.

As we hear stories of answered prayer and lives changed in our churches, I’m reminded of Psalm 126:3:  “The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.”

Celebrating God’s Work Across Ontario

We’re thankful for every story of God’s faithfulness in our district—every person reached, every changed life, every baptism, and each testimony of God’s provision. In September alone, 40 baptisms were recorded in Jesus’ name, five people were filled with the Holy Spirit, and one healing miracle was reported.

We thank the following pastors and their congregations for sharing their reports: Dustin Abbott, Emmanuel Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church, Mitchell McQuinn, Sudbury UPC, Sudbury, Pastor Dwayne McCarty and Stittsville UPC,  Pastor Kent MacKay of Cornwall Community Church, Pastor Shawn Stickler of the Pentecostals of Quinte, Pastor Dennis Brown, The Pentecostals of Peterborough, Pastor James Church of Crosspoint Church in Oshawa,  Pastor Samuel Ofe Brode of Apostolic Pentecostal Church, in Pickering, Pastor Calmer Rosal of Theocracy Apostolic Fellowship UPC, North York, Adrian Peel of Faith Sanctuary, North York, Pastor Everton Wallace of Sanctuary of Love, North York, Pastor DeVon Tomlinson of Hope Christian Ministries in Brampton, Pastor Eaton Grant of Greater Life Community Church in Bradford, Michael Gebo of Beacon of Hope, Essex, Pastor Mark Cheverie of the Pentecostals of Windsor and Essex, Pastor Phil Phillips of the Pentecostals of Chatham, Pastor Daniel Noble of Livingway Pentecostal Church in Woodstock and the daughter church in Tillsonburg, and Pastor Errol Heron of Christ Community Church of Etobicoke.

A New Church Plant Bearing Fruit — Beacon of Hope, Essex

We are especially delighted to celebrate Beacon of Hope in Essex, Ontario, one of our district’s newest church plants. Michael and Jera Lynn Gebo have been holding services in their home.  So far, they have baptized five people, and three have been filled with the Holy Spirit.

It’s inspiring to see a new congregation already making a difference for God’s Kingdom!

We rejoice with the Gebos and the Beacon of Hope congregation, and we thank God for what He has begun in Essex. Their progress reminds us that the harvest is plentiful and that the Lord continues to open doors for Apostolic ministry in communities across Ontario.

Let us continue to uphold this new work in prayer, asking God to grant spiritual growth, souls for the Kingdom, strong discipleship, and lasting community impact.

A Call to Continued Prayer

As we celebrate what God has already accomplished, let us remain united in prayer for:

• A greater harvest of souls throughout Ontario.
• The strengthening and growth of our existing churches and new church plants.
• Fresh anointing, wisdom, and spiritual strength for our pastors and ministry leaders.
• Revival among our children, youth, and young adults.
• Divine direction and an outpouring of the Holy Ghost during the upcoming Worldview and FEM Conference and the Fivefold Ministry Conference.

Closing Encouragement

Ontario District, we have much to thank God for! One congregation’s victories encourage the entire district. When one church experiences a breakthrough, we all rejoice because we are labourers together in God’s harvest.

Let us continue to pray fervently, labour faithfully, and believe God for even greater things.

The best is yet to come, and the harvest is still before us!

With thanksgiving and continued prayers,

Errol Heron
